Five dogs imported from Romania confiscated in Switzerland
28 February 2020
Five dogs have been imported to Switzerland from Romania with invalid documentation. The dealers pretended to be an animal protection organization and the dogs have been seized.
This is far from being an isolated case of dog dealing, which is a problem in many European countries and can be the source of spreading of dangerous diseases like rabies. Continuous education of the owners about the importance of knowing the animal’s origin is of paramount importance.
