As you will be aware, the killing of Cecil the lion in Zimbabwe last month has generated a great deal of public outrage and concern about the ethicality and sustainability of trophy hunting.
While the particular case involved an American national, hunters from the European Union (EU) continue to be significant importers of wildlife trophies.
